Song from movie Paap

A...D.....................
Lagi tum se mann ki lagan

D..............A................
Lagan lagi tum se mann ki lagan

A.........E...........E/C#.......A
Gali gali ghoome, dil tujhe dhoonde

E................A...
Tere bin tarse nayan

A...D.....................
Lagi tum se mann ki lagan

Strum UD DDD UDU

When we say UD that means go up and then go down. That is the rythm of the song.
A quick googling about strumming patterns would make you understand what the strumming patterns are..

Some more info about tabs

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa
are
C D E F G A B and C (The cycle goes on)
One should be aware of the sclae of the song as well.
Sometimes if the songs have the tune "Sa Pa Dha" the person must know which Pa and Dha should be picked i.e. the Pa that comes before or the Pa that comes after. If this is confusing then after a few songs it should be clear.

Now other than sa re ga ma.. There are a few extra tones that are in between sa re ga etc..
The extra tones are
C# or Dm (Csharp or Dminor)
D# or Em
F# or Gm
G# or Am
A# or Bm

E---------------------------------4(G#)--6(A#)-----

B-----------------7(F#)-------------------------------

G---6(C#)----8(D#)-------------------------------------------

D-------------------------------------------------------

A-------------------------------------------------------

E-------------------------------------------------------

Basics of tabs

Once you have a guitar, make sure that you tune it well. Once you tune it you can see the difference and you can also quickly spot what is correct and what is wrong. To make the best use of this space tuning is skipped here. You can easily find how to tune on the internet. Myabe in due course I would post that as well.

You should know before you read this.
1. How to tune a guitar
2. How to hold it
3. What is a fret

Jumpstart...
A guitar has 6 strings. They are named E, B, G, D, A, E from the thinnest to the thickest.
You might have heard Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa. or Do Re Me Fa So La De Do.
In guitar u use C D E F G A B C

The simplest way to jump start is to read the table below..
You should read it from left to right.
E,B,G,D,A and E are the strings. And the numbers indicate where the finger should be placed.

E-----------------------------------5------7----8-----

B----------------5---6---8----------------------------

G-----5----7-------------------------------------------

D-------------------------------------------------------

A-------------------------------------------------------

E-------------------------------------------------------

So put the finger on the 5th fret of the G string.and play it once then move to 7 fret of G sring then 5, 6 and 8 of B and finally 5, 7 aand 8 of E..
There ... you have played sa re ga ma.. or C D E... and so on..
Master them ..
Play sa re ga ma ...
Play sa sa re re ga ga ma ma pa pa
Play sa re ga ;;; re ga ma ;;; ga ma pa.....
Play backwards sa ni dha ....
and so on to get a hold of them..

In next lesson on tabs you would learn what is C#... or Dm or D# and stuff like that. and maybe play a couple of songs.
